Not for small feet or road shoes

I wear US Men's 8 (EU 41) and my road shoes don't grip at all - there are no grippy lugs in the middle of the pedal at all. Also, I had to use adapters so they stuck out a lot more than I needed (I'm 5ft 6" so it was difficult to keep my legs wide enough apart, they kept sliding inwards while riding). They fit big feet or MTB shoes although they weren't expensive. I'm keeping them for now as I won't have pedals that fit smaller bores and plan to replace one of my cranks soon.

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Very expensive

The pedals fit a 15mm pedal size, so the buyer needs to use adapters.

This is better than the original pedals that come with Schwinn mountain bikes, but I wish the pedals came in two sizes and didn't come with adapters. Also, the adapters are described as 9/16" but are also 15mm in diameter and it would be easier for Schwinn buyers to advertise that the adapters fit 15mm. So my Schwinn didn't have any documentation stating the size of Pedals Buying pedals was a guess, and I bought Schwinns because I knew I would get a fit with adapters, but most bike pedals today

  • The list will be long.

Bought as a used Openbox return. Comes with adapters to use if the crank mount has a 9/16" fine thread hole (20 threads per inch left hand thread). One adapter was removed. Revain kindly gave me a partial refund and I have corrected the issues myself Overall happy purchase *Requires 15mm ParkTool or 15mm Husky Thinline wrench for pedal assembly Otherwise excellent product My other set lasted 20 years and is still going strong .Mongoose aluminum pedals are the best in the world and best selling…

1/2 " pedals that work well and won't break the bank.

These pedals were purchased to replace the plastic pedals on a Mongoose (Pacific Cycle) bike. 1/2" pedals come in two categories; cheap and plastic or expensive and alloyed. These pedals are the best of both worlds, cheap and lightweight. This is a great replacement for the one-piece Ashtabula cranks found on older bikes and department store bikes. Don't expect $140 performance from $14 pedals, but you can improve them. As with all cheap pedals (plastic or aluminum), the bearing preload is…
