🔌 Optical Toslink Audio Cable - Monoprice 1.5ft, 5.0mm OD Review

I used this TOS Light Link to connect an Xbox 360 to an Onkyo receiver. It works as expected. Incredibly, this provides a better signal to my receiver than using the TV to send an HDMI signal to my Xbox receiver. Using a Xbox/TV and Xbox/receiver combination will result in the Xbox/receiver delivering a better, louder, and clearer signal to the receiver. All I know is that TOS Light Link works better than expected. Thanks very much!

So this cable appears to be of good quality, well packaged and free from defects. Except it's not anywhere near 40 feet, which is what I found after fishing it through my ceiling and preventing it from getting near my receiver. I even measured with a margin of 4-5 feet. The included HDMI cable was the perfect length and worked great. Big Lesson: Measure your cables before you catch them. At first I don't know if that was something in my house, but I had to plug and unplug this thing 3 times! the only way it worked was to connect to the source (TV) first and then to the receiver, after that it worked fine, maybe that's how it's connected. Bought to use with our new Samsung surround sound system and so far it has worked exactly as expected. The 12 foot length is great and allowed us to hide it behind drywall for a "clean" look on the wall. Once connected, it tightens to keep your connection secure. The sound quality of music and movies has improved by leaps and bounds.
