    External storage devices connected to this hub would fail and then come back on.

    We bought two new MONOPRICE 7-port USB 3.0 switch hubs with AC adapters. Both MONOPRICE USB hubs, model no. 121787, appear to be defective. Connected external storage devices did not work. External storage devices connected to this MONOPRICE USB hub would fail and then keep coming back, every minute or so. This constant failure caused the computer to display repeated error messages. Repeated error messages caused the computer to crash. We were afraid that the computer might fail. We can notโ€ฆ

    VERY GOOD USB 3.0 HUB WITH SEPARATE SWITCHES FOR EACH USB PORT

    It works as advertised. I connected this USB hub to my laptop for permanent desktop use by connecting some USB peripherals like external USB drives. The hub itself is fairly flat and doesn't take up much space. What I really like about this product is that there are separate DIP switches for each of the 7 USB ports. This allows you to control each individual USB port. Each port has a blue LED indicator that allows you to monitor the power status for each USB port. The hub comes with a separateโ€ฆ

    Paperweight for $30. for network products

    Worked for a short time, after that my external hard drives stopped working. Monoprice says the replacement is over 2 months away and I've already passed the return window. I now have a $30 POS paperweight.

    Unreliable, spotty, the best in computers and accessories

    Bought to replace my Anker USB hub and it has worked fine for about a month. Sometimes his connections are unreliable, sometimes broken, sometimes open. I don't know if it's broken or wrongly connected, but it doesn't work. I have ordered many Monoprice products in the past so this product pisses me off. I hope Monoprice can get in touch with me as I don't know what else to do at the moment.
