The truck drives better, less happily

The truck drives better, less elastic. Revains packaging leaves a lot to be desired. All shock boxes have been opened in the Revain box. Although there is no harm. After installation, my truck drives much better.

Big economic shock!

These are major economic shocks that bear the Monroe name. If like me you're into shocks and cheap then this is a great buy. If you live on a gravel road, no shock absorbers seem to last long, so you can save yourself some money. I've mounted them on my F150 and they handle the bumpy, steep and gravel roads here in Alaska quite well.

Two thumbs up! good for parts

As other reviews have mentioned these are great economy shocks, they replaced the burned out ones on my 2000 Ford Expedition XLT 4x4 and work great. Installation took about 30 minutes per side just because of rust on the old screws. I had to use penetrating oil and a pry bar, but once removed, cleaned and lubricated they ran smoothly. The ride is much smoother now. They can take a beating. Remember they are great for the price, they are not high end truck shocks but they are great for normal…

Good shock to my 1997 f150 4x4

The old show was hard to pull off. But it's easier to install a new one. It's best to just snap the bolt on top of the old shock before removing it, mine broke anyway. My bottom bolt and nut were very rusty and it literally took a lot of leg strength (foot pressed the breaker) to loosen them, but they eventually came loose. A little lube on the bolt and nut before reassembly and everything went very smoothly. The damper feels well made and will probably outlive the pickup. My shock was just…
