good but good best among spare parts

My only problem is that what is shown in the picture is not what you get. I would have put a five before but they are not the same as in the photo

Pros
  • Good product for its price
Cons
  • Some problems

Great shock absorbers/struts

I bought a complete set of these struts for our 2004 Hyundai Accent. The car had about 90,000 at the time of installation. We didn't realize how bad the ride had gotten as it had only gotten worse over the years. But after I put those racks in, it drives like new now. Installation was easy and the fit and finish are up to Monroe standards. Not to mention the high price I bought them for.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Clarity

My truck went from peppy to hard.

My 20 year old Dakota 97 had stock shocks. The truck had 167,000 miles on it, so with the stock shocks it bounced worse than a wild horse over every bump. What I mean is you hit a bump on the freeway and you're still skipping half a mile down the road. So I bought Monro-Matic Plus shocks and replaced the old 20 year old leaking shocks and it solidified the ride nicely. They're not the best money can buy, but for the price, they're a quality replacement.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks
