Ordered 2 pieces One of them came in an open box with parts missing. The one in the opened box also has a different part number and appears to be used. I want rma but can't afford the hassle.

I had a problem with my Chevy 58 truck (with Camaro clip) with hopping on the highway that was not solved by installing new stock shocks. I did a little research and found these serious service bumps. Problem 100% solved. I had similar high-speed swings with my stock 63-foot Country Squire station wagon. After some minor adjustments (bolt spacing) I mounted these shock absorbers. 100% healing again. These kicks are the bomb. A very happy customer.

When I went to fit them I found that one of the shock absorbers was faulty (they came straight from the factory) and were not filled with gas. This is a front shock for GM B/D bodies from the late 70's thru 1996. The rear Monroe Severe Service Shock is part number 550013.
