I doubted the quality of the production.

During the first examination I removed the connector from below. The eye was just a bent piece of metal. It wasn't a solid round piece. I don't know, it just made me doubt the quality. He seemed lazy to me. I sent it back.

Sensa-Trac Rules. in parts

This is the king of mid-range struts and shock absorbers. They've built in a lot of technology. My 2007 Sonata didn't drive that well when it was brand new. I wanted to buy her new nibs, but I decided to try these first. Now it rides better than ever and no new springs are needed. My car has 120,000 km.

Worked well. I installed it on my Sonata. Should be an easy job but there was a PIA! Be prepared to swear when removing old shock absorbers. On my car, the tabs on the underside of the shock absorbers are rusted on the stud they attach to. No hammer blows can remove them. I had to cut the lug in half with a small pneumatic angle grinder and remove the damper leaving the rubber center and metal bushing on the stud. I then had to carefully cut the metal sleeve lengthwise so I could stick a…

2006 Sonata GLS 3.3L V6 154,000 miles

Installed on a 2006 Sonata GLS 3.3L V6 with 154,000 miles. Also ordered and installed a Monroe 905984 Strut-Mate mounting kit for these shocks. Easy job, the old shock absorbers were bad! Much better to drive. Can't match the price and labor savings! I reused the shock absorber which was in good condition. The first side took a while because the bushing of the lower attachment point got stuck on the bolt shank. Apparently I didn't flush the bottom attachment point with penetrating spray enough!
