Wrong shock kit

The overall length of the shock absorbers is only 17.5 inches and the addendum states that the overall length is 29.5 inches. Add the listed 29.49 x 7.24 x 3.74 inches <- no wear near the listed length

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Protection

Not enough cushioning effect

They helped my Ford Ecoline 150 Van but are not strong enough (not enough cushioning effect). I would return them if I could remove the shocks myself but my friend did it for me. Must be replaced again soon.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Expensive

Typical Monroe

Typical Monroe, well made, really fits and helps with the front suspension of an older '95 F-150. Intend to install the appropriate kit on the back. replaced Monroe Magnum gas shocks which I paid for after installing 15 years ago. Great products

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Hard to say

Does not fit shock absorbers at all

Purchased for a 1987 E150 van conversion. Not good at all, very happy, like driving a clown car. When I hit a bump at low speed and stopped, the van continued to bounce 3-4 times. Insecure deletion and immediate return. The valve body is very small compared to OEM shock absorbers.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Unusable features

Great shock absorber for every road.

I made some modifications to my 1999 4X2 Ford Ranger and installed these shock absorbers. One of the best upgrades for my pickup. They do great work on the road, on the highway, and even better on the ranch. Years of daily use, I simply replaced them with a new pair

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Damaged

Do not go. waste of time.

junk. As many other reviews have said they have no power at all and yes they are still VERY springy, my rusty old shocks felt stronger than these brand new ones. Not amused. But the Monroe shock absorbers are impressive! It's awesome. Take this review seriously, you don't want the entire work to undergo even more upheaval than it did before and it defeats the purpose of replacing the old ones.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was some

I finally got around to checking these out, although the truck I transported them on is no longer with me. Ordered a full set, front and back. This applies equally to both, so keep that in mind. These are decent shocks, especially for the money. This is the only salvation for them. Installation was straightforward and easy, but the front blocks just felt embarrassingly short, so I had to lift the front A-arm to get the top of the shock into the upper mount. It seemed completely wrong. as this…

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • working speed
