This works on my 1995 Z71

They really clicked once I figured out how to lift it up far enough to bolt them on. I put a small jack between the axle and the rubber on the frame. I had to twist it all the way, but he entered without much effort. Rear lift approx. 2 inches. This Z71 SUV. It works and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a little extra support in the back. He definitely doesn't squat with loads like he used to. Very happy. Thank you and God bless

Amazing Extra Cargo Capacity M

If you tow trailers of any weight or use your 1500 Chevy like a 2500, this is for you. My truck is tow modified, modified transmission and rear end to tow (upgraded Eaton posi block with upgraded Race bearings). I also have a few engine upgrades: a Jet Performance chip, upgraded high-lift rocker arms, an upgraded factory Tornado air intake, and a K&N air filter. The rear was the only missing key for towing, but that solved that problem. This fits in a Z71 with a small block Chevy 350 TBI engine

Get a good light and line up the big screw hole

I have a jack, a 13/21mm wrench and socket, a nail hammer, a 3 pound hammer and a nail bar used. Place a jack under the bottom of the shock absorber. Place the nail shank against the shock and shock mount. Jack it up and slide it into the bracket. Move the nail hammer and hammer the wedge under the shock absorber, get a good light and line up the hole for the larger bolt. They're a little tricky and can be dangerous if you're not careful, but overall it's worth the effort. Eliminates the sagโ€ฆ

Good product best in Shocks Struts and Suspension

Like other Monroe Sensatrac products this is a good product. As mentioned in other reviews, this raises the rear a bit (not too much, maybe an inch max, maybe less) and is a bit more difficult to install than a stock shock. In addition, the smoothness is really good despite the increased carrying capacity. My recommendations for installation. two jacks and basic hand tools are required. Work one side at a time. Remove the old shock absorber, install the upper bracket of the new shock absorberโ€ฆ
