Works great and easy to install

If your F150 shocks are worn out or tired I highly recommend trying them out. Much cheaper than the Bilsteins I looked at and the truck drives great.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Nothing

I am very happy with the improved drivability

Installed two of these on the back of my Ford F-150. not very difficult and it is a very high quality product. I am very happy with the improved handling which really helps to dampen tire jumps. FIVE STARS for sure! Yes, I will always buy Monroe shocks from now on.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Something is wrong

Like a new truck!

I fitted these to my 2006 Lariat with 150k miles along with the appropriate spacers. I also just put on all new Michelin tires and I swear my truck rides are better than my friend's 2015 King Ranch. Assembly took about 10 minutes each side. Couldn't have asked for an easier and more enjoyable upgrade.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Easily repairable

Easy install great ride

After 9 years/75,000 miles I needed to replace a leaking front strut on my F150 and decided to replace the rear shock absorbers at the same time. Installation was super easy. There was enough room to get to the bottom bolts without lifting the truck. I put the top bolts into the wheel arch. It took 10 minutes for each side. The handling is better than OE shock absorbers. Very soft. I should have changed them years ago.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Perfect OEM replacement and fitment was quick and easy

Perfect replacement for OEM shock absorbers. Installation was very easy and quick. I removed the tires to do this, but I guess that wasn't necessary. They were installed on the 2008 F150 WD. I note that the belt holding the shocks in compressed condition had to be cut to fit. The compressed shock was too short to fit the second bolt (no matter how much I jacked the axle up).

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Annoying

Solid replacement shock absorbers

I bought these for my F150 CC 2005 2WD and am happy with their performance. This generation of Ford trucks is known for its smooth ride, excellent handling and excellent towing/traction performance. So if you're replacing the factory rear shocks, you'll need something of equal or better quality. These shocks fit without breaking the budget. Since installing these shocks, I've hauled my bike, rails, and luggage cross-country several times, and my truck handles well even with the extra weightโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Good luck with your Monroe and Revain warranties

I recently purchased a high mileage 2006 Ford F-150 Lariat pickup. After replacing the front struts decided to change the rear ones. I matched the Monroe shock specs to the Monroe front stays that I recently installed. It's a good thing I decided to change the shock absorbers because they were badly damaged. Literally they had no rebound. The Monroe shocks were easy to install and made for a great balanced ride. In my opinion, Monroe shocks are generally better and more robust than OEM Fordโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Solid
Cons
  • Damaged

Really optimistic. Will not fit a full size pickup

Bought these shocks to replace worn stock shocks on my '06 F150. At first they seemed like a big improvement. About a month after using them, I noticed that the rear of my truck bounced annoyingly when driving the interstate or going over bumps. I thought it had to do with tires or extreme winter temperatures. Now that it's warm outside, they annoy me every time I go anywhere. When I turn around and hit the slightest bump, the rear of the truck jumps sideways or bounces up very quickly, likeโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Always liked

  • I won't tell
