Air dampers in shock absorbers, struts and suspension

My old car likes to have a working air damper in the back. runs better. The rear bumper does not hit the curbs. I can put more in the trunk and still not feel the car or shift gears.

    Great price and product

Installed on a Chevy Bel-Air 56 and greatly improved the ride. There wasn't enough air line to go from the shock through the frame rails to the center of the hitch so I just bought an air line kit.

Exactly what I wanted and needed in my hot rod!

Now they're on my 210 '55 Chevy and they make the ride a bit stiffer but that's what I wanted. The rear of the body is raised and the suspension is strengthened so that the car does not sag under hard acceleration. When I want a softer ride I just let some air out and it's very nice for cruising! Thanks very much!

Fits perfectly on the front of a 1969 VW dune buggy

Several online forums have recommended this model of air spring. They are not designed to fit the front of a 1969 VW Beetle but will fit perfectly without modification. I checked the Monroe website for more technical info on overall length etc. I wanted more clearance for off-road riding, and these are the right settings.

    Very good for the price.

Already the third car in the last 17 years. Great for towing, adding weight, or just tweaking your ride. However, one of my shock absorbers was slightly bent during shipping. I saw another review where they were bent in such a way that they leaked air into the weld. The packaging could be improved a bit. Mine were fine and I expect many years of work. Feel free to buy. Pros
    • The best in its niche
    Cons
    • A few little things

My second MA700 kit on a 2000 4Runner. Although not listed for this vehicle, they do fit and provide greater shock absorption extension (and articulation), which is important for off-road use. The only issue with the fit is the inner diameter of the bottom rubber bushing, which is a bit small to attach the 4Runner bottom bolt to. It works if you apply lubricating oil to the bushing first. The first set had been in the car for 10 years and I thought they were starting to leak. It turned out that
