I've spent over a day trying to stop the air leak. d inflate to 60 pounds and watch the pressure drop with my pressure gauge. Within 15 seconds the pressure was zero. I replaced the shock o-rings and hand tightened the compression line nut as tight as I could to no avail, then changed the o-rings many more times. My compressor o-rings are tight too, I've been truck-free for 3 days now, soapy water is still bubbling up in the damper o-ring tube. I will never buy these again.

Pros
  • Made in China
Cons
  • piggy bank price

Use Monroe! Best for shocks, struts and suspension

Monroe makes very good shocks. I've been using their air shocks for years and none of them have let me down. They were on my 1985 ElCamino.

Pros
  • All Weather Fluid: Contains special modifiers to reduce friction and give the stem a smooth response
Cons
  • No Instructions

Good air shocks for the money.

Installation was easy, all parts were included. Inflate them to 90 psi and pack about 4000 pounds of gravel in the back of my El Camino. I drove about 40 km. It squatted but still had some suspension and the shocks held up well.

Pros
  • Made in China
Cons
  • Update available

I was very disappointed when I opened my Monroe package yesterday

I was very disappointed when I received my yesterday Monroe package opened. Let me clear that up. Looking at the dampers up close, you'd think they were rebuilt with inferior rattle work. In the picture they were white. The ones I received were black, no Monroe decals. They even painted the rubber boots over the pistons black! The paint on the rubber is peeling off everywhere! What is this ability? For something that supposedly was made in the good old USA, Monroe didn't take much pride in…

Pros
  • Fully offset valves: the best valve range on both compression and extension cycles of the unit for a smooth, comfortable ride
Cons
  • Some difficulties
