Worked fine for our use.

My friend bought an old aerial work platform and shot through the shock absorber that prevents the bucket from swinging. We modified this one and it works great.

Pros
  • Full Displacement Valve: Improved valve area on unit compression and expansion cycles for a smooth, comfortable ride.
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Very poor quality hardware

Very poor quality hardware, the grub screw that connects to the driver's side cuts off in just a few turns with a small 1/4" ratchet. Suppose under heavy load or off-road / on rough roads, the shock absorber fails due to poor quality. I can't confirm the strut damping as it was junk before I could even use it.

Pros
  • Micro-Cellular Gas Design: Allows the device to be mounted horizontally.
Cons
  • Negative impression

Not recommended for 2015 F250 due to death delays.

I have a 2015 F250 4X4 4 door truck, at about 105,000 miles my truck started rocking to death. I bought a Monroe SC2967 steering damper in hopes of eliminating, or at least improving, bumps at high speed. The Monroe SC2967 steering damper had no effect on the tremor. I then bought 4 new Rancho 5000X front and rear shocks and a Revain Rancho RS5413 steering stabilizer kit. Last night I installed Rancho 5000X front shocks (2) on my truck but I was running out of time and had to stop for the…

Pros
  • Specialty Seal: A self-lubricating hydraulic seal that retains gas without excessive wear or friction.
Cons
  • Some imperfections
