Description of Monroe Shocks Struts 37363 Absorber

EXCEPTIONAL HANDLING -- Full displaced valving, tuned specifically to each vehicle, adjusts to road extremes while the larger bore provides more efficient damping control to provide consistency and a smooth ride. IMPROVES STABILITY -- ASD (Acceleration Sensitive Damping) valving technology and fluon-banded piston deliver greater control and handling while improving ride comfort. IMPROVES PERFORMANCE -- Nitrogen gas-charge maintains tire-to-road contact for improved ride and handling by reducing aeration and shock fade. CONSISTENT RIDE -- OE all-weather fluid contains special additives to assist with extreme temperatures and help reduce oil breakdown. BUILT TO LAST -- Self-lubricating fluid seal retains gas and reduces excessive friction against the piston rod to help reduce premature wear.

Terrible Performance from These Shocks

As a new buyer in the automotive world, i was really disappointed with my experience with these shocks .As a result of my tests I determined that they provided almost no additional support to my suspension. Even after installation, I still experienced significant bounce and sway on the road. The only pro to these shocks is that they were easy to install. However, the cons far outweigh it. I would not recommend these shocks to anyone looking to improve their ride performance..

Pros
  • Provides a comfortable and smooth ride, absorbing shock and vibration on bumpy roads.
Cons
  • May wear out faster than other shock absorbers due to its design and materials.

Works but too soft.

Purchased to replace an Infiniti QX60. Things look decent and are made in the USA. Installation is easy. However, the car shakes more. I heard that the OE spectrum is too soft. Feel like you are on a boat. Maybe I should buy KYB.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Operating speed
