The best set worth the money. Good guides and tutorials

Good product so far. All Arduino checked, everything works. The included manual has plenty of tutorials for each sensor, and they recommend a great YouTube teacher to follow the Arduino beginner video series. Well done. The best kit on the market. It costs $210. My only recommendation is more information for beginners on how not to damage your Arduino by overloading it. A complete beginner with no idea about electricity can easily accidentally kill their Arduino, so be careful! :D

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

There's so much to see here

I love this set! It comes with everything you can think of. I showed this kit to my college group and together we started playing around with the sensors. There are Uno and Mega boards so I share them with my friends and everyone can choose what they like. I highly recommend this starter kit to anyone who wants to learn and play with Arduino!

Pros
  • Easy to attach
Cons
  • Out of style

If I had gotten that as a kid, I wouldn't have wasted my 20 years.

I learned to program 7 years ago at the age of 29 and wrote software professionally for 6 months. I wanted to use my skills to build physical things, so I bought a Raspberry Pi a while back. I actually didn't use it that much because I didn't have a lot of components/sensors etc and didn't have much time to buy them individually. When I decided to jump into Arduino I didn't want to repeat the same mistake. Instead of going cheap and just buying an Arduino Uno I went with this kit. Very glad I…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Appearance

Recommend set good for computer components

Set suitable for ages 9+. There are so many modules and free bonus items included in the pack. Really decent kit. This is the recommended set. However, the problem is that some main modules (3 or 4) need to be soldered by yourself, which is difficult for them. Another problem is that some of the soldered parts in the modules are bent.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Modern

General Cost Benefit Analysis

All sensors, circuit boards and bonus circuit boards have been carefully packaged. I was really looking forward to this package. This is the only package I have found that has as many boards and modules as I was looking for. This package pays off. While the $200+ price tag is a high buy-in. It's still cheaper than buying the motherboards with modules separately. What I researched and found would cost over $300. There are wholesalers that sell all of these products, but most have a minimum order

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • New competitors have arrived

Very impressed parent

AWESOME! Happy with the purchase, got more than I paid for. The tutorial links are very helpful. My 10 and 16 year olds are learning a lot about robotics thanks to my purchase of the A&R Nano Uno Mega Monster Starter Kit for Arduino. They were able to create a simple motion detection device using this and many other products. Love it! Great experience overall.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Huge kit. Try USB

After looking at many Arduino kits I finally settled on this one because of the variety of possibilities it offers. It's more expensive than most kits, but for the amount of stuff you get, it's worth it. One of the first things I noticed upon opening it was how everything was sorted. It was nice to find that the most sensitive components are in anti-static bags. This is a sure sign that that they care about what they sell. One thing you should know is that this is an Arduino clone, but since…
