Really good product. I checked the reviews. One review that caught my attention is the amount of food. When I got it I grabbed a paper plate and played around with the amount it needed. It's just a matter of adjusting the feeding hole. Now it works great.

Bought when I was out of town. Difficult to get the right amount of food to go out. It was too much for me when I used it, but that's not a product issue, it's a user issue. If I were going out of town I would only eat once a day. Play around with it and make sure it only outputs what you need. Happy with it.

Very easy to set up and adjust to add just the right amount of feed. You can have him feed up to 4 times a day, I feed them twice a day and the drum only spins once per feeding. It throws small round pellets very well. I covered the roof because the food got soggy and swollen and then didn't fall out. Otherwise it works great outdoors so far.

I have them in all my tanks (≤20 gallons). However, I seal the adjustable hole (at least) with a small dab of superglue as soon as I get them. The opening is too large for most aquariums and can be accidentally opened unnoticed. To avoid overfeeding and the need to clean the aquarium, I just fix it in place. Otherwise the battery works well (lasts over 4 months) and is easy to use.

I bought this product when my family was away for the weekend and I didn't want my fish to starve.
