Make sure the thread pitch is correct

I put it on yesterday but found it had the wrong rivets on it. I have bought several Moog hubs with the same problem. The ABS cable didn't work either.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • No paint required

I will order more if needed.

Excellent product, very complete set for Dual. Came with everything I needed and got rid of that grunt when I slowed down. MOOG has great reviews and is well worth the extra money.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Very expensive

You need to replace the wheel tips on the old hub.

Good direct replacement. With new locking ring and O-ring. You will need Loctite to install the studs. I also had to change the wheel tips from the old hub. All in all, it was an easy do-it-yourself project.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Ok

It's expensive and nut free

If the old bearing assembly has 150,000 miles then the nuts that attach the assembly to the steering knuckle will also have 150,000 miles. Any inclement weather, road salt, etc. will affect the exposed parts of the assembly. For a well known brand like Moog, the lack of 4 bolts in the package to securely attach the wheel bearing assembly seems sloppy in my opinion.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Appearance

(4) Missing pins and axle clip

Very disappointed with the expensive Moog bearing. Everything was in the box, at the opening there was a bearing and a waist belt. It is missing 4 rivets and the C-clip to use the old rivets and C-clip. No more $268.00 wheel bearings and no more reusing old parts to mount on a truck! The photos show the new bolts and c-clip, as well as the pressure gauge and pressure cable. I don't know if the box was previously opened, it was beaten upon arrival. Beware!

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember
