Smaller than original

Real disappointment. If only they would come to me in the Sahara to replace the original 4runners. Failure to purchase original Toyota parts on time. I replaced the front springs with a Moog 6 months ago and they fit perfectly so I just assumed they would fit too. They're half an inch shorter, but the real problem is they don't shrink more than a quarter of an inch! The real problem is that I can't return them and have to wait another 5 months before I can send any more. It will cost me dearly.

Pros
  • Spare parts
Cons
  • Interval

Great replacement springs for a 2003 4Runner!

These are fantastic replacement springs for my 2003 Toyota 4Runner! I love the way they ride (they are a bit stiff at first but soften very quickly). This helps me understand how my original 245,000 mile XREAS suspension was removed. A direct replacement that I was able to take to my local brake shop and install with new shocks (Bilstein 5100s). Keeps the truck perfectly level with these springs which give me an extra inch of rear clearance. Highly recommended!

  • I don't really like anything, everything is fine

Good OEM replacement for a 2004 4Runner

I installed these on the back of my 2004 4Runner to replace the sagging stock springs. It's true that they don't quite fit, but I'm not sure they're made for that. The bottom coil is not flat on a full turn, so the end of the spring sits straight in the seat groove, but the other side of the spring does not sit flat in the seat. I haven't noticed any noise and will wait and see if he eventually straightens up after enough punches. They added about 1/2 inch of rear travel over the stock springs.

Cons
  • I will add later
