1995 Toyota 4Runner

Worked great on my '95 Toyota 4Runner. Also installed a Daystar 1.25" spacer and KYB Gas Shock #565059. I had to loosen the brake lines for extra sag. Very happy with the results. They are about 1" higher in the rear. No more rear sag!

  • Nice thing

95' 4Runner Sag Eliminated

Installed on 95' 4Runner. These springs were paired with a Daystar, a Toyota 4Runner 1.25" rear lift kit and a KYB MonoMax gas shock for a great ride and feel. great on and off road.

OE Replacement

Moog have built a reputation for quality; However, there were rumors that production outside the country reduced the quality. This is not the case here. I installed these springs on my 1992 4Runner and not only eliminated 1.5 inches of rear end sag, but also improved the ride quality. I installed them with a set of Bilstein 4600 series shocks and my ride height is flat again and smoother than I expected.

Pros
  • Great Value
Cons
  • Exchangeable

Better than expected

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has reviewed their Moog CC255 coil spring kit. Your review has given me confidence in my purchase. The only thing I read and would like to share is that one of the posts said the Moog coils are shorter than the original equipment. It really bothered me but I went ahead and ordered. I really was what I did. My 1993 Toyota 4runner no longer has sagging floors. It sits proud and the ride is much better. I was thinking of using 1 1/2" spacers but I won't

  • Easy install
Cons
  • Doesn't fit all

Restores the factory ride height.

I used them on our 1994 Toyota 4Runner which had the typical 4Runner rear camber on 25 year old springs. The bottom line is that the original rear ground clearance has been restored, just as I wished. Nearby, the factory springs stand about half an inch taller than the new Moogs, but it's clear the construction is sturdier. . Installation took about 30 minutes using a jack, stands and pneumatic tools. Once in place, the rear was raised about 1.5 inches where it should have been. They don't…

2nd Gen 92 4runner 3.0

If you're reading these reviews you already know the sagging rear problem of the 2nd Gen 4runner. After years of talking about doing something about it I finally decided to fix it and since I needed new shocks anyway it was time to change the springs and I'm glad I did! I wanted to keep my stock rig and they did not disappoint. The ride is firmer but not uncomfortable at all, and that's not a disadvantage, I've ridden with old, tired, sagging springs and old, burned-out dampers, so the 'hard'…

  • Decent Performance

No more sagging!: Springs

1990 Toyota 4runner 22re. I bought them to replace the sagging original springs. They are much stiffer, but not overly stiff, and significantly reduce body roll. Having lived with them for several years, I would say they might be too harsh for some. If you ride a lot of unladen off-road and want maximum articulation, they may be too stiff. I noticed how tough they are when I went camping with two friends and a dog. We had over 800 pounds of passengers and the second rear seat and cargo area…

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Good but not great
