Where the heck are they made and are they metric? Designed for another vehicle? They sit loosely on low-mileage Jeep knuckles. My son and I narrowly escaped DEATH when these scrap pieces came out of the top of the knuckle on a mountain road. Ball joints were easily converted to NAPA.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Doubt

I have to wonder why Moog is worried about giving you something.

I have to wonder why Moog bothers to give you a grease fitting on the lower ball joint, you can only use it until you change axles. Because there is no place for that oiler and axle gimbal to live in the same space. I think the company with all its engineers and designers could find another way to get grease in the ball joint.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not sure

Beware. I bought two of these and received two.

Warning. I bought two of these and received two different parts. The old version pictured here had a grease nipple in the middle and the new version has a grease nipple on the edge. The old version can only be lubricated when the axle is removed. You can lubricate the new version with a grease gun. Haven't had any problems with any of these since installing it.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Protection

Terrible ball joints. I would give 0 stars if possible.

I bought and installed all new Moog upper and lower ball joints, JKS tie rod and heavy duty comb steering. Before this setup I only had 1 bad upper ball joint. After replacing all of those items, I couldn't hit 45 mph without fatal wobble. I gave a warranty on the tie rods and tie rod because various body shops blame these parts. Replaced her and I still had a deadly hesitation. Finally, I replaced the ball joints with Napa knots. No more dying hesitation. I WANT MY MONEY BACK AND MOOG WILL GET

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • ill thought out
