Used on my 1991 Miata in the upper arm. He worked wonders and pushed himself to the end with ease. Use the correct C clip pliers, I used Lisle pliers flipped upside down to open the clamp and it was very easy. The shoe was pretty ridiculous to set up and I ended up using a 36mm head to hammer it in and it still wasn't perfect there but was enough to keep it on edge.

Four stars just because the dust boots are almost impossible to fit onto the ball joint. A metal wire runs along the outer edge of the boot, which does not allow it to stretch enough to fit over the ankle. Otherwise a good replacement. I've read that some people were worried it might pop out as Miats were designed to replace the entire control arm, not just the ball joint, but it came with a snap ring that you put on the underside to keep it does not fall out.
