firm handling of my trucks

My 99 GMC 2500 steering column joint was shot through, MOOG saved the day. My truck drives like a dream after replacing it with a new one.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • No power

Conforms to the declared good for Pitman Arms

The item arrived as expected. I found out the federal magnate bought MOOG so I'm not sure about the quality. This is my second drop arm in 2 1/2 years longer than others I've tried so we'll see.

Pros
  • Many positive emotions
Cons
  • Negative is present

Excellent quality part on Pitman Arms

Excellent part as expected from Moog. If you change this part in the GMT400 setting; a complete removal of the transmission is not necessary. The box can be detached from the chassis by loosening the 3 screws and moving to access the screw and removing it with a puller.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Will write later

Cup is great, but there are better parts for connecting rods

Heed the warning, buy the DELCO Professional AC Series better than Moog and perfect for our GM boxes. Servicing guns on a GMT400 chassis is no fun, so do it once and get it right! Try ACDelco 45C0045 Professional

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive

Good substitute option.

Bought this along with a few other parts to convert the front of my Tahoe and this part fits perfectly. It fits perfectly and appears to be a quality replacement option. I've been using Moog components for years and have never had a single problem. The installation in my application turned out to be a bit more complicated than expected, but the results were great and now everything looks as it should.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Non automatic

Great part! at Pitman Arms

As my other reviews say I started using Moog suspension parts over forty years ago. They make their parts to basically "catch up on what the OEM failed". For four decades, Moog has been my supplier for everything to do with suspension or steering. Like all other MOOG parts, this lever is built to a higher standard and engineered to provide better lubrication to reduce wear. I will not use any other brand.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • packaging is ugly

Took 1 year, done less than 10,000 miles

I ordered MOOG Pitman and cocking lever here on Amazon on 08/29/2019. The products turned out to be genuine and looked good. However, I tried to level the front of my truck on 08/27/2020 and the workshop could not do this as the tractor and idler pulley were already in abundance. I drive a truck very carefully and have probably driven less than 10,000 miles in the last year. disappointing to say the least. it was on 94 silverado k1500

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Crumpled

worked like clockwork

I installed this on a 1999 GMT400 1 ton 2WD truck. I've read a few reviews that say the performance is a beast, but on 2WD it's not. Get on and off in about 30 minutes once you're comfortable with your hand tools. You need to turn the truck's wheels all the way to the left so you have enough room to pull it out and put the new one in, it just fits, no need to unscrew the steering box from the frame! I used an OTC 6496 puller to remove it from the steering box, it worked like a charm. Theโ€ฆ

Pros
