🔧 Upgraded RK90489 Control Arm by MOOG for Enhanced Performance and Durability Review

I have a 2004 Honda CR-V with 250,000 miles - rear tires could not be aligned due to excessive camber. These parts fit perfectly and the tires are aligned as they should be. Highly recommended!

Works exactly as it should. The only problem I had was that the old flimsy ABS clips wouldn't stay attached to the ABS panel. As a result, I drilled an extra hole in the Moog ABS board and ABS plastic clip (holder). Then I used a plastic binding to make sure the ABS stays in place.

Easy to install and adjust the factory rear camber to -1 degree. Before the measurement it was more than -2 and tire wear along the inner edge. Had to grind down a small portion of the ABS mount to allow the factory wiring harness to snap into place. They are made by SPC, they even stamped their name on them. If you go to their website, they cost $108!

I was very disappointed in the quality of this MOOG product. The threaded holes on either side of the turnbuckle block aren't even parallel. When you rotate a block, its ends move in a circle. I think it would be harder to get it wrong than it would be right, but apparently not. Both hands I bought were like this. They work well, hence the 3 stars. If you use it on a Honda Element, do yourself a favor and buy this key.

Control levers appear to be of good quality. The problem was the supplied nuts, which are used to attach the control arm to the wheel side. The nuts must be M12-1.25 to properly fit the Honda bolt and have a minimum hardness of 8.8. (Measured with automatic delivery to be sure). The Honda didn't have them because the Honda control arms have nuts. The nuts provided are of a larger pitch - they appear to fit but are not perfect. Also, one of my nuts was out of round and didn't fit at all. Good…
