The trunk is not scary to assemble

The trunk is not scary to assemble. A kind of wd40. A large crescent-shaped key that has been opened wide enough. A hard hammer hit and 90% of its absorption. Using a blunt object such as a screwdriver handle or closed-loop pliers, hit the rest of the part with a hammer. Simple pizza.

Dust cover difficult to fit

Overall good quality lower ball joint that fits just right. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the dust and grease cover doesn't attach and doesn't easily fit on the lip. I had to use a large diameter head and hammer it in. When I first tried it, I didn't have a big enough outlet, and the dust cover eventually ripped.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Can't remember

Couldn't get a dust boot to stay in place. I need a new shoe now.

Dust cover cannot be installed. He kept slipping off the seat. I had no problems with the K781 lower ball joint that I bought at the same time. The boot broke due to repeated attempts to keep it in place and no one sells just the boot itself. Had to buy locally for support. Does anyone know where I can buy just the boot for his ball joint? No longer satisfied with Moog quality. It used to be the best you could buy. Now it is supposed to be made in China.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Expensive

Made in the USA for casting!

Great product, perfect fit. I had a problem with my boot. The dust bags of the upper ball joint are pressed in directly after installation. I used my 60 ton press and bearing cage tool to press in the boot. The lower ball joint shoe would not seat at all no matter what I tried. So I covered it with silicone except for the back. Excess grease blows out on the back of the brake disc. I can understand why the upper ball joint is not pressed in at the factory, because the joint is screwed into the…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
