the set was perfect.

The only problem was that the rubber top coating (protection?) came off after a few miles. The cushion isn't damaged or cracked, it's just a coating. make it bad

It doesn't match the cars it lists!

PLEASE NOTE WHEN ORDERING. This advert said it would fit my 2012 Mini Cooper, but I completely disassembled my car only to find out it did NOT fit. Moog confirmed this was for a 2002-2008 Mini, so the website's programming is wrong.

Pros
  • Superior rubber-on-steel grip for durability.
Cons

Good looks, good fit

Second L/R and R strut bearing replacement after 180,000 miles on a base 2006 Cooper. Compared to the Moog strut mount and previous aftermarket strut mount, the Moog strut mount features a bearing that is sealed internally with molded rubber, which is said to provide better protection from the elements. The part fits well and will hopefully last another 100,000 miles like the previous aftermarket strut mount. The original only has 80,000 miles on it.

Pros
  • Polished Chrome Steel Bearing Rings.
Cons
  • Almost Never

I bought two of these for my Mini Cooper S, one arrived as expected, ready to fit, the other had a clear factory defect. Rubber welding was not connected between the bearings and the mounting plate. I discovered this after my mechanic took the car apart, so he installed a good part and reinstalled the old one. I sent the bad mount back, got a new one from Amazon, it looked ok so I had to have a mechanic install it. 31 days later I had to start my girlfriend's car and noticed the replacement was
