get the real thing, MOPAR is the only one that actually works properly. The cheaper ones don't work properly and are bad for the engine.

After 3 AutoZone swaps and "Oh, really!?" auto parts, I just had to buy a Mopar genuine part. This works as intended and disables blocking when it should. Others, although powerful and moving the fan, never let go causing the belt to slip. This part kept the truck running like it did when I bought it without excessive drone and the fan actually cooled the engine properly.

I'm starting with 5 stars although I haven't received it yet . I hope I don't have to change this estimate. I'm only writing this review to point out that this part and my vehicle failed the Revain vehicle check. It is said that this is the wrong fan clutch part number for the 2001 Dodge Dakota R/T 5.9 and it is. The reason I'm buying it isn't because what I have is necessarily broken.
