Had the trick with gas caps

Check engine light came on, code indicates a very small vapor leak. Called our mechanic, he said try a new gas cap. Delivered to Revain at night, engine lights off. Perfect! one

Pros
  • Best in the niche
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

The seal is better than the imitations on the market

The metal coated o-ring outperformed simple rubber seals and the click sound of the locks was much better as if it really did what it was supposed to do what was designed to do. Other caps I've tried sounded with a forced click.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Good but not great

This works for 2008 Grand Cherokee

I have a 2008 Grand Cherokee Laredo. I wasn't sure if this particular model of gas cap was right for my car so I just made my mind up and as soon as I installed the new cap the gas cap warning light went out. Couldn't be happier.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Negative Gift

Fixed check engine light issue

This finally allowed my Aspen's check engine light and gas cap to go out. I tried the post-sale universal lid and it didn't fix the problem. I ordered this Mopar and the problem is solved. (FYI Autostart not working when check engine light is on)

Pros
  • Rugged construction
Cons
  • Protection

Perfect OEM Fuel Cap and Engine Light Problem Solved

My 04 Durango issued code P0456. Evaporative emission system leak (very small leak). The problem has been solved. The old cap was original, so 17 years old and the rubber O-ring was very hard. The engine light no longer lights up. The 5 minute swap easily saved the mechanics a $100 bill when they hooked up a diagnostic tool to determine that was the problem.

Pros
  • Easy to Read Control Panel
Cons
  • New Competitors Appeared
