Fits perfectly. A little tricky to remove but nothing a BAH (big hammer) couldn't fix. Stopped the knock I was getting from the back of my jeep. I used this on my 2001 WJ Limited 4x4 (Grand Cherokee). It worked great.

I was skeptical about paying more for a Mopar than cheaper ones but I'm very glad I got this one, instead the quality looks way better than others. I've never had any problems and I'm sure it will last a long time.

Works well so far. I will update if not. This Mopar part replaced an aftermarket ball joint that was literally less than 2 years old. Do not buy aftermarket for this specific part from WJ! Mopar's ball joint housing is noticeably better built than the aftermarket (in this case, the ultra-powered K7450).

Exactly what I needed. The 3 large bolts holding the pivot at the top of the axle are difficult to get to, but with patience and a 21mm ratchet wrench they come out. Looks like a good quality item. There is no top nut included and I had to cut mine off an old unit so try to salvage yours so you can reuse it. My dealer didn't stock (and apparently discontinued) the nut so I had to order it from McMaster (it's an odd metric size not found in local stores).

I was expecting it to be a lot tougher than it was. When I took it out of the box I was able to hold the record and rock it slightly, but it was definitely stiffer than the old one, so I think it's better than nothing. Replacing this fault is not easy and I don't want to do it regularly so I bought a Mopar OEM ball joint and chose this one as it is already pressed into the mounting plate.
