Genuine Mopar Oil Cooler for Jeep JKU 2013

Worked great on my 2013 Jeep JKU. I only had to replace the pressure sensor but I chose to replace the entire oil cooler as they are usually the problem due to leakage. Came with the necessary o-rings and gaskets already installed.

Fits easily

Fits like a glove, I ordered this part as I didn't want to spend money at the dealer it was money spent. The part fit perfectly, I just needed new gaskets for the intake manifold. Buy them too, they cost money and are also necessary.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Has problems

2012 Charger 3.6 V6 Flex Fuel

Most people including myself were unaware of the possible Achilles heel of the 3.6 Charger, this is definitely one of them. The oil cooler I bought was installed a few months ago and I have no complaints. After the installation, my coolant problems have subsided and I can drive stress-free. Definitely recommend this product!

Product failed less than 3 months after installation

Bought this oil cooler in June. It's early September and I have an oil leak in my coolant. I'm stuck with my family in 100+ degree Texas weather. I bought the part from a Swift part seller and paid double what the other Amazon sellers were asking believing it was a genuine Mopar part. I am very disappointed in the quality of this product.

Great product, great price and easy to install with YouTube!

Don't forget to bring an E8 torx bit for removal and installation. (points to the picture). I was skeptical as the price seemed a bit low for a legitimate MOPAR product, but in the end it fit and worked great. Doing it myself was perfectly doable and saved me just over $500 off what the dealer listed for parts and labor. Just did it in January 2020. Thanks very much!

  • Good product for the price

A simple solution to a poor Chrysler/Jeep design requiring a recall.

So I have a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. If you own a 2011 or 2012 Chrysler or Jeep, you know the horrible design of the Pentastar 3.6 liter oil filter. For no reason, when removing the oil filter cover, a spring and a plastic case fly out. Chrysler fixed the design asap in 2013, but folks with the 2011 and 2012 models are stuck. There are no reviews. My Jeep dealer wanted to charge me $675 for a $2 spring and case repair (mainly towing, buying and installing this part, and changing the oil)…

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Useless features

Excellent OEM part My research has been done

After much research I settled on this part. I have a 2012 Dodge Durango with a Pentistar 3.6 that was starting to lose coolant and I couldn't figure it out. I finally figured out what was leaking from the oil cooler. I've read numerous forums that indicated that 2011-2013 models were typical for coolant leaks and 2014-2016 models were known for leaking oil into the coolant. .From what I've read the 2014 oil cooler (part #5184294A) has a different oil filter but it has been redesigned and is the
