2 months have passed well for the hub assembly

It was necessary to read the reviews and choose the Detroit axle. Installed at the end of April, broken at the end of June. DO NOT BUY THIS!

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • There are problems

Getting the old one out was very difficult! You literally have to knock him out, but he'll come out. Unfortunately the ABS sensor was damaged in transit and I had to use the old one to avoid having to leave my truck at the shop.

Pros
  • Spares
Cons
  • Retrofittable

Didn't last more than a few months

I used to buy bearings here and never had any problems. I haven't had it, but maybe a little over a month and it's already broken. Take your money and just buy more expensive ones. You also have no way of contacting them to let them know it didn't take long.

Pros
  • Hub assemblies
Cons
  • Some little things

Sounds good but time will tell

I had a problem with the cable anchorage on the truck connector. No violence will put this thing in the hole made for it. I ended up securing it with a cable tie. What worries me more is that I bought oxygen sensors of the same brand and 1 of them was completely non-functional and the other 3 were wildly going through the readings. There is some electronics in this hub. I hope this gets better.

You get what you pay for

The bearing was professionally installed with the correct axle nut torque. But it only lasted 7-8 weeks. Now he plays a lot and starts making noise. You get what you pay for. A good bearing costs about 150-250. I'm not too disappointed, I kinda knew it wouldn't last but wanted to give it a try to save a few bucks. It ended up costing me more. All you had to do was use a quality bearing that would last for many years.

Cons

Inexpensive, but with replacement costs.

The product was installed on 18/18/2020 and failed on 3/16/2022. The front right bearing now makes a stereotypical dropout noise. A cyclic high-pitched squeak that increases/decreases with increasing wheel speed and load (right turn) and disappears completely when turning left. Maybe it was a pothole or something similar that caused the premature failure. Maybe it was just cheap cheap parts. This is my experience with the product - use it however you like when making your decision.

Pros
  • Wheel
Cons
  • Makes me angry
