Medium setting. for dealers and parts

August 2019 - Purchased for 2001 Nissan Frontier 6 Cylinder Engine - Arrived on time, product fitted. So far this is working fine. Write down the location of the old distributor or take a photo. The new one should snap into place (remove the cap and see which way the rotor is pointing) and the connector wires should be on the correct terminals.

Everything is ready, but there is no quality.

I bought this to collect parts to rebuild the worn parts of my stock manifold. It seemed that reviews of this kind reflect its quality. I took this into account when purchasing and considered using parts of it to restore my factory unit. I ran into a few issues when swapping parts between the OEM unit and this one. The camshaft was not drilled in the middle. It cannot be mounted on the original shaft. Looking at the lid and rotor, the quality appeared to be rather inferior imported material…

Flawless Victory - Ignition Parts

What can I say? At 240,000, the factory dealer began to give up. Random misfires after changing spark plugs and cables. Installing on Xterra couldn't be easier. Remove the cover of the old block (leave the wires), note the position of the rotor, disconnect the two wire connectors, unscrew one screw of the distributor, remove the distributor, remove the cover from the new distributor and lower it into the motor (assuming the rotor is in the same position, swap the wires from the old cover to the

Junk, DO NOT BUY the best from dealers and aftermarket parts

2004 Nissan XTERRA. I've had problems with it since day one. Drivability issues, poor idling, and oxygen sensor codes issued. Initially, although it was just coincidence, the oxygen sensors could fail, but even after replacing them with BOSCH OE, there were still codes and rough idle/stumbles. Finally 5 months later he died on me leaving me stranded, called AAA to have him towed home. When I got home it was working again, but ran erratically (once it cooled down). After being stranded it was…

Don't waste your money

The title said they came with a 3 year warranty which was the main reason I bought them. I figured even if it fails prematurely like others have said, at least I can get it under warranty and have it replaced. Not right. First, the seller makes it almost impossible to contact them. And if you do, they will tell you that the dealer replacement warranty period is only about 6 months, after which it will be prorated. I was unsuccessful and they offered me $30. Not enough to replace and not worth…

Update May 18, 2021 Almost 2 years later the camshaft position sensor built into the distributor failed. Reading some of the other comments here, it seems like this is a general shortcoming of this mailing list. Received it yesterday and have driven the car about 50 miles since installing it. The car purred 15 minutes after delivery. In fact, it's working better now than it has in recent years. Honestly I didn't expect this to work given the price of the parts. I just hope it lasts. So far I…

Decent price

First off, I'm fairly familiar with the 3.3 liter Vertigo on my Xterra. I know the internal ignition coil will rust and that the shaft bearing could be a problem. So I wanted to do a little preventative maintenance before installing the replacement manifold. I first found that the distributor cap was too tight, as was the rotor mounting bolt. The real problem was that the inner cover was screwed in so tightly that the head of one screw snapped off and another sheared off. I ended up having to…
