Small but powerful: calipers and parts

I was surprised that the tool worked. It's very small, but big enough to fit in and pull out the piston of a motorcycle brake caliper.

Pros
  • easy to read control panel
Cons
  • thin

Works well good for caliper pistons

Easy to use. Small enough to fit monobloc calipers and strong enough to pull pistons with ease. Rebuilding my R1 calipers just got so much easier. good tool.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Really good set

Really good set. It can be attached to the caliper piston and help to pull it out. When the seal is hard these are tough bugs and it takes away everyone's fear of working with the caliper. Motion Pro does it again.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • silent

Small and useless.: Caliper piston

Virtually useless. Didn't open wide enough to remove the front brake pistons on my CBR1000rr. Better to use the following tool: OTC 4799 Stop Pliers for removing brake pistons https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009S4SZ3S/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_c_api_i_kA6qDbE3WRFZ4

Pros
  • Endurance test results
Cons
  • Appearance

Just what you need

This is a tiny precision tool for removing a healthy piston from a caliper when replacing a seal. This tool is NOT designed to forcibly remove a rusted, frozen or stuck piston. Obviously you can't apply much force with a tool this size. A properly functioning brake piston must move at the touch of a finger. If you have a stuck piston, bleed the air using either hydraulic pressure from the brake system or a grease gun. This tool is excellent for its purpose.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Long delivery time

The tool is only 1.5 inches long. It's tiny and useless. wasting $30.

Small and unusable for a motorcycle or car saddle. Such a tool can be used to remove a rusty or stuck piston. That was my reason for buying it. This item is fragile and will break if you apply torque to it. It may have been designed for use with toys, but it doesn't belong in a garage. The design has merits, but the tool needs to be five times bigger and much better built. Perhaps the advert could show true size by showing it versus a quarter, or perhaps as I depicted it in the palm of my hand.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Only available in white

Another special tool that makes life easier

It's so small and compact - how can it even work? But it is so! Anyone who has ever had to blow out motorcycle brake pistons with compressed air knows how "interesting” shooting down a garage can be. This small tool attaches securely to the inside of the piston and allows you to gently remove the piston. Please note that it is small and after removing 8 plungers with it my fingertips hurt. However, I don't know how else I could get the pistons out without breaking the caliper. I have used this…

Pros
  • Trial period for one year
Cons
  • There are flaws
