Can't have what is listed.

I bought this as a charger because the description says it has a 'desulfator' function. When I received it, I noticed that there was no documentation in the box, including instructions that talk about the "Desulfator" feature. After checking out the company that makes it and the product, I found absolutely nothing about "Desulfator". I don't know if it exists or not. I would not recommend purchasing this item for the reasons stated.

Very versatile for different battery types and has a lot of cables. 6V and 12V 2A. Works very well.

I have a heavy duty 12v battery that is used to start a 58amp 3 cylinder diesel engine. I use it when a thunderstorm disrupts the power grid. Because of heavy ice I was without electricity for 2 weeks (Pine). This is a cost effective alternative designed for places like hunting lodges off the beaten path etc. The engine has no alternator (low-tech). When the engine is running I need to keep the battery charged to power the glow plugs. I also use it for AGM 12V, 7ah batteries.

Surprisingly Good Best Chargers

My 6 month old battery ran out of juice and wouldn't hold a charge even after some jumping and running (because it was sulphated) after which it would stall and stall when the machine was not used. After running this charger for 24 hours everything was back to normal and I had no problems for the next month. Note: If your battery is _totally_ dead, you may need something else (e.g. jumper cables) to maintain it. Charge it at least a little so that it registers as "battery connected" with this…

Mediocre product but it worked

I had my doubts that this product would work but bought it anyway. I was concerned about my Vespa 12v battery overheating/overcharging. When I first connected it to the battery I took off the Vespa, the charger indicated that the battery was fully charged. I unplugged it, plugged it back into the Vespa and in fact it didn't roll over or even click like there was some sort of charge present. UPDATE - Faulty charger burned my battery

charging failed and my battery was completely discharged in 3 months. After trying to revive it with a suitable 10A charger I found that the output voltage was only 10V (dead cell). The battery was stored in VG condition and has not been used since connection to this tender. Thanks to Revain for refunding the cost of the faulty charger, but the manufacturer owes me compensation for replacing the battery - buyer beware. If anyone else was lucky enough to get compensation from the manufacturer…
