Disappointed with exterior accessories

Good car cover for cars left outside. It is waterproof and made of heavy material. I am changing my rating. It seemed good and strong to endure bad weather and stay outside. I bought it in May 2017 and paid $38.85. About a month ago it started "scattering" white foam particles that appeared to be magnetic because they stuck to the car when you opened the car. If anyone bought this case based on my review, I apologize. As I wrote this seemed like a really good cover and I expected it to last a…

It won't survive the desert

Unfortunately this case didn't last more than 3 months. The material broke and formed a layer of dust (dandruff from the fabric?). First it left a light dust on the car (2006 Subaru Impreza) and then a few weeks later when I took it off it dusted me completely. /waterproof.) Maybe it's because Tucson had a record heatwave last June (though it claims to be UV resistant). Maybe it's just made of a thin material. couldn't defend himself against Big Yellow.

Good fit for my Prius

Got this for my Prius when I'm away. It's a nice fit (a little loose in some ways) as it's clearly made for the Prius lines. (there is a list of car makes/models that you enter when purchasing, so this is a semi-order). Attention, it is a bit difficult to find and make a hole for the antenna on the roof, but that's not a problem. I live in a very windy area so when it broke I just used silver tape to fix it and reinforce it and it worked fine. If you are in a windy area, use heavy duty clamps…

Didn't survive 90 days before damage without extreme weather!

Bought this summer, before the fall (within 90 days) the material began to scatter and crumble, thin patches of material appear, especially on the hood of a car. Eventually, rain and wind started tearing the material on the bonnet and now it has almost burst exposing the entire bonnet. If you touch the material when wet to adjust the coverage where the material is thin, a piece of material will come off in your hands. We've just had our first snow and I need to find another cover to throw over…

No cable or lock is included.

There is no cord and lock as in the photo, instead there is a thin cord for laces. I was hoping for a stronger mount and as it was pictured with a cable on Amazon I figured it would come with it. Fits well. Waterproof but not completely. I bought this to protect a car with a leaking sunroof and it does it very well. However, the rear spoiler, where water accumulated, soaked the car. The fabric of the cover is cloth-like and has no plastic layer to prevent water ingress; I think it's made to…

Short-lived - didn't get out of a car cover and 3 months.

I bought this car cover on April 5th and started using it in mid-June. It fits my S2000 very well, it gets blown away with the wind which I don't really like, even if you break it it can still come off. Anyway, let me get to the important part. The car cover literally falls apart. The first image shows a "fuzzy" material that is missing a top layer. I can literally run my finger over the car's paintwork and have grey/dark greenish fuzzy stuff on my hands. The white perforated part is now split…

Do not use a dimensioning program!

Do not use sizing information as it may not be accurate. This appears to be a good quality, somewhat heavy car cover. When I entered my details, the trunk that was supposed to fit my car was too small. I had to look up my car's length online which was easy and I would order the correct size. It fits but is "uncomfortably" tight. My car is 198 inches long but the program suggested 190 inches. The next size up is 210 inches, but it's easier to dress too big than too tight. I can't comment on the…

Great case at a great price!

Let me start with the bad news: this will never fit in the bag it came in again. That being said, the good news is I haven't washed my car in over a month! This is perfect for my Audi convertible. The cover fell off once when it was very windy outside, now I just use some rubber bands to secure it and I haven't had any problems since. I've been looking for a cheap case for a long time and I'm so glad I found this one! worth your money! I live in Southern California and it doesn't rain much…

WARNING TO BUYERS: Thought I would be happy, but here's what happened. Really poor quality product, thought it looked great and fit well. I report two problems: First, the quality of the product. I bought the product in May 2016. I only used it a few times until I went on a 6 week trip in August 2017. When I got home I found that the product had gone bad in the sun and rain! It fell apart and shattered into shreds (see photo). I could deal with seams ripping or elastics fraying, but the actual…
