Sensr Review

This part is NOT a Coolant Temperature Sensor. This is the outside temperature sensor. I don't know why Revane can't understand that. Works exactly as expected.

This item is incorrectly referred to as a coolant temperature sensor. This is the factory ambient temperature sensor. It was easy to install, just uncheck the faulty one and replace it with this one.

This is an Ambient Air Temperature Sensor but labeled as an Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor. I bought this for my Ford Focus but it doesn't use that sensor. It is used to sense outside air temperature, not engine temperature.

I know better. I was trying to save a few bucks by buying a non-Ford sensor. Mistake. A slightly cheaper device always shows about 6 degrees higher. I tried to live with it, but I think it was mind games with my automatic AC (as well as other things that rely on knowing the outside temperature) so I ended up ditching a cheaper unit and buying this one. The problem is solved. You'd think I'd know better in 52 years. I hate buying things twice. I had to buy it for the first time!
