Motorcraft FC 1054 Fuel Tank Cap Review

The gas cap does not close properly causing the engine light to come on. Small steam leak. I'll work fine for a few weeks and then crap.

Fits my 2009 Ford Focus. A little tip: When tightening, one click is enough. Well! Just one, okay! Not two, not three, not four! Only one !

My check engine light came on and I used my scanner to read the code. It fits well and looks the same as the factory 4.0L V6 gas cap. I've cleaned up the code and will wait and see if I need anything else.

This is a perfect fit for my 2006 Ford F150. The picture shows the original Ford cover next to the new one. Autozone/Extended Auto The chord fits perfectly where it joins.

I bought this replacement gas cap for my 2008 Mercury Mountaineer Premier V8 AWD. It fits perfectly and is snug, but it didn't solve my problem. should my dealer have the cap checked and find the cause of the problem.

This gas cap is OEM as described and works great. I bought a Gates cap and worked at first, my ECM put out the 'gas cap light' and turned off the engine light, but after about 4-5 days I lit the gas tank light again and checked the engine light. I bought an OEM and it worked for about 2 weeks and there was no more gas cap or engine gauge!
