Quality OEM product

I have flushed the system, new water pump, thermostat and housing and all new hoses. It fits perfectly on my 1999 F-350 Super Duty 4x4 with a 7.3 liter diesel engine.

Motocraft Reliability

I've seen a lot of videos about replacing water pumps and just general maintenance on Ford trucks. So much for the video and my diesel mechanic always recommends using genuine Ford Motocraft parts. So I found and bought this hose and it worked great replacing an old 20 year old motocraft hose that was there and still in good condition. Great seller also with fast shipping.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Doubt

Didn't fit as advertised, be careful when installing in car.

Although he said he "got his way" to my car, he didn't. I bought them when I needed them, so I have 30 days to return them to Revain. The Motorcraft website also doesn't help with returns. I think it's good quality, I won't know because I can't use it. Had to get them from the dealer because I was stuck with the truck when I realized they didn't fit my truck.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Not suitable for vehicles after 4/29/2001

I ordered this part for my 2002 Excusrion 7.3. I didn't find out that this part didn't fit until all the coolant was drained and I was in the process of flushing the system to install new ELC coolant. Luckily my old inner tubes were still in good condition, otherwise I would have been really mad at Revain for telling me they fit in my truck. My fault for not checking the part numbers. If you require a water pump spigot, P/N KM4671.

Excellent quality, very easy installation

I replaced this hose on my 2000 F350 Super Duty with a 7.3L Powerstroke that has done 300,000 miles with ORIGINAL hoses and belts. Since I was so lucky with these parts, I bought all the factory parts again. Everything went smoothly and there were no problems with it. I could have saved a few bucks and bought other parts, but they were so cheap and of such high quality that I was glad to go back to OEM. As good as the quality is, what I like most about this hose is that the clamps on it are…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

No more hose clamps

Hose exactly as pictured, no glued on Mubea style clamps like the old KM4542 (I have a 2012 Motorcraft KM4542 with hose clamps attached which is here). The hose must be secured at least on the plastic radiator neck with constant tension clamps. The cheapest are the Mubea clips (or Rotor-Clip or some other brands) compared to the more expensive stainless steel Bellevue spring clips like the Breeze (cheaper Breeze clips have carbon steel screws, not all stainless steel). Dimensions measured: 2.1"

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not the best
