Power steering pump

Auto parts what can I say but it's great. The pulley stood immediately, the new pump fitted perfectly. Pumped new fluids, no more noise. Great price, delivery on time and easy installation.

Nope from the start!

Not satisfied. Whining from the start. Installed on 99 f350 along with new hoses. I'm not sure I understand why factory installed pumps never whine, but remanufactured ones seem to always do. Are the interiors that different? I figured since it's Motorcraft I'd pay more and get a better product. Not as much.

Noet after replacement

Partial delivery 10 days later than promised. Noet from the 1st day. Surcharge for a "quality" part. Not as much. The old one worked perfectly, only liquid flowed. I'll probably replace the gaskets with the old ones and put them back in when I'm finally tired of hearing them groan every time I start the truck. 2 stars because it works.
