💨 Motorcraft YH-1702 Blower Motor Resistor: High-performance Solution for Optimal HVAC System Functionality Review

The Motorcraft resistor exceeded my expectations and delivered superior performance. As my tests showed, it maintained a consistent and efficient flow of air throughout my car’s blower system. Overall, a must-have addition to any car that values the best performance possible.

I initially purchased the BWD from Advance Auto and the fan settings were out of proportion to the factory settings. They were 10%, 10%, 30%, then 100%. I went back and bought this and everything is back to normal. You can't go wrong with Motorcraft. This was for my 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis without ATC.

Worked great and a great price from Amazon. It is also highly recommended to solder a new wiring harness. The plug usually fails before or at the same time as the resistor bank. TIP: Before installing, make sure none of the springs or resistance wires are touching each other. When installing in a vehicle, make sure that the springs do not catch or bend. This can cause some of the springs to touch and cause a short circuit.
