don't expect it to hold much weight. stamped thin soft metal. Maybe it was just my application, the kit seems fairly complete, but the small table's legs are not held up by anything strong enough to be trusted by anything other than a games console and monitor. The legs themselves are strong, but they're attached to a sticky anchor that allows for plenty of movement.

This is a very beautiful and well finished piece of wood. I used them as footstools and the only problem I had was the hangar bolts were too long so I couldn't screw them in so there wasn't a gap between the top of the legs and the bottom of the footstool. I later bought a similar set of legs from another seller and the same thing happened. I'm wondering if these baseplates are designed to work properly with a standard 5/16" hangar screw?

These legs took my old sofa and gave it a new look. I'm so happy I did. I am in the process of fitting new 6" foam for seat cushions and the total cost of repairing my sofa was £110 plus labor (my own). The end pads are tricky and cutting the foam is tricky, but I saved a few thousand dollars. I'll have to get used to not having flat pillows, but between the pillows and those amazing legs, my sofa is as beautiful as the new ones I see in the ad. In the photo minus the last pillow.

Yesterday I fitted these legs to a new bunk mattress. That means 2 XL double bases. I used 6 legs for each of the 2 bases - 3 on each side. I used 6" plated legs. For those who say the hanger bolts are too long, I'm guessing you didn't drill a hole for the hanger bolts. If you don't already have holes, you'll need to line the center bolt hole with a 5/ Drill a 16" bit. I used a 3/32" bit for the panel screws.
