Fall apart in your engine!

Dipstick fitted for 1 day and half of the dipstick fell into the oil pan. I am angry. They are two pieces attached to each other. Only gave one star because I had to!

Pros
  • Can be installed with basic hand tools
Cons
  • Bad impression

Mr. Gasket sticks to making gaskets

I bought this to replace an old pipe and dipstick as I have been replacing the manifolds. The pipe had to be ground down and then the second time I checked the oil it broke. I noticed that I had drawn a…

Worked great with a little modification

I installed this in my SBC. To do this I had to grind about 1/16 inch to get it up to the bubble. I had to sand, possibly because of the block I used for my build. An oil pan was initially installed on the engine. the dipstick that I discarded along with the non-original oil pan. So the guide tube in the dipstick hole in the block was never pushed in all the way. The guide tube started slightly less than flush with the top of the dipstick hole in the block. I had to push it into place with a…
