Beautiful microscope stand

Very robust. Works well with our Depstech USB microscope ($26). Cannot be used with Juision ($20) - it does not hold this microscope securely.

Perfect balance and control

We are setting up a fiber measurement and had to turn the fiber upside down in reflection mode. This ideal desktop fiber mount is highly durable, allows for one-knob Z adjustment, and has a mechanism to adjust the tilt of the installed gauge. We cut out a wooden cylinder that fits under the plastic holder and drill a hole in the center for the fiber to go through. This gave us complete freedom in customization. Because of its rigidity, the signal-to-noise ratio is excellent. Honestly, that's…

Additional features could be used

While this is a superbly designed product and good value for money I was disappointed that it doesn't have a rotating camera mount so the camera tilts at an angle can be photographing objects with a reflective surface. I found I had to tilt the subject to compensate for the reflection of the LEDs around the camera lens. A function to switch off the LEDs built into the camera would also be useful in order to be able to use an additional light source. It would also be helpful if an extension tube

Nice stand! on binoculars and scopes

When I first bought my Dino-Lit it came with a small stand. It was only possible to raise/adjust the camera about 3-4 inches above the platform. MacGyver had to do something else to lift him higher. This stand is expensive but very nicely built and with the additional extension stand (screws on the original stand) I can raise it almost 24 inches. 360 degree camera. The mount, which slides on the post, has about 2 inches of fine adjustment to easily move the camera up and down after tightening…

Top quality binoculars and scopes

It's very durable and doesn't slip or wobble. The customization works like this. You can loosen the set screw on the back of the main mechanism to allow the whole thing to slide up and down the aluminum post. Then tighten that set screw and that's your rough adjustment. Further to the side of the main mechanism is a center adjustment knob that moves half of the mechanism up and down while leaving the other half attached to the post. All metal parts are made of aluminum with high precision…
