High quality wire and sheathing is easy to work with

Everything you need is included including crimping tool etc. It takes a little getting used to but it's easy after the first time.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons

Recommended spark plugs and wires

I have used several of these kits and have always had good luck with them. MSD makes the best ignition products and this is a great economical option for people on a budget like me.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Do not use if you have elbows or exhaust pipes near wires.

Thought I would get a good product that could handle high manifold temperatures? Not correct. As can be seen in the photo, I also installed a wire protector, but the wire was still melted.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Almost never

Great plug cables for the money

Great cable set for beginners. Buy some silicone spray to put your boots on the wires. Also, put on a protective cover before installing the metal end. or you will be a sad dog. Don't ask me how I know that. Comes with an MSD crimping tool that actually works pretty smoothly (for casual use. Better than paying $80 for a fancy tool). You'll need a vise and some practice to use this tool. MSD materials are good. Don't doubt.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Easily wrinkled

Much better than wires already cut

Spark plug wires need to be changed over time. I bought a set of pre-cut wires advertised as OEM length. When I tightened them up I found that the OEM actually ran some wires in the motor mounts and each was about 5 feet long. No matter what I did, those wires were too long for me. Also, I have headers and wanted the wires to run over the valve covers (V8) rather than under them like an OEM setup. I have had good luck with MSD in the past and they have been no exception. The 8mm wires are good…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable

High quality noise canceling wires

I prefer cut harnesses as it's pretty much the only way to get the wires to fit your motor exactly. Some pre-made kits are better than others, but many will give you 6-inch or larger connector wires. Chaotic. MSD cables are among the highest quality cables, not only in terms of efficient power delivery, but also in terms of ease of connection. I had more than one set of noise suppression wires that were almost impossible to get to without removing the outer wire cover. It doesn't matter what…

Pros
  • Best in the niche
