My 8 year old collects pocket knives and was dying for a butterfly knife. Obviously we had to find a trainer for him and we chose him after reading reviews of various kinds. It arrived quickly and he LOVES training in it! He says it's elegant and loves that it comes with a case and tools!

It's great value and fun BUT there are a few flaws that I noticed after a few days of use, number 1: some screws are on little lost not much, but you can tell by checking this, number 2: the spring-actuated latch doesn't work and just slips off after a few uses. Overall it's a great gift for the money and useful, just not as durable after day one as I would have preferred

My son has wanted a curved butterfly practice knife since we gave him his first knife over a year ago. As I went through review after review, this one seemed to have the best reviews at a decent price. The tools and extra screws are great bonuses, allowing the tool to last longer while not feeling fragile at all. The handy butterfly has some weight, so I wouldn't recommend it to a younger child who is serious about learning tricks. I am happy with the purchase.
