🔧 MTC 30353/30353 Headlight Motor Repair Gear Kit: 1988-1996 Corvette, Gasket, Grease, Domestic Models Review

Up and down headlights no longer raise, they go up and down again as intended. They are really painful to install. I have 2 hours per side. Pin Extraction - Bear. but once and again together everything works as it should.

I used the stones, gasket and grease that come in this kit. The equipment will not fit in a 1993 Corvette, although Revane said it "will fit in your 1993 Corvette." Good news: if your headlights start spinning after you spin, the pebbles have probably been chewed up into a powder (I had). The gear had no wear so I reused it and everything was fine again. If you are looking to rebuild your headlight motors I would only buy pebbles, gasket and grease if those are included.

As mentioned by another reviewer, the transmission does not fit. He has a 93rd year, and I have a 94th year, so it definitely doesn't match those years. I'm pretty sure it's the same mechanism from '88 to '96, but don't quote me on that. The cut outs in the gear for the bearings are not the right size so the motor will not fit when trying to assemble it. This was probably not an anomaly as I ordered two sets and both had this problem. Everything else in the kit seems fine (they skimp on a bit…
