We bought one a year ago to replace the loud ticking with this quiet one. It worked fine but we broke it when we moved it to set the time. We ordered a new one and it didn't work. We sent it back and got a replacement. It works but runs a few minutes faster. So every month I have to adjust the time by a few minutes. At the same time it is silent!

I was looking for a replacement quartz movement that was deep enough to fit in a fused glass watch I made. I ordered another one with the same measurements from another online source and the description was completely inaccurate. Returned of course! It was such a pleasant surprise! It fit, was very quiet and looks way more expensive than it is! I'm so happy with it! It also shows the exact time!

I really wanted to love it! It's quiet and keeps perfect time. turned my noisy childhood hours into quiet hours. Unfortunately it has already stopped working. Sometimes it just stops. The battery is fine and with a push it works again. and after a few hours it goes off again. Always in a different part of the second hand's rotation so it doesn't get caught. In any case, I will try to replace it with another brand.

Hole and shaft size work well. Be sure to take your time when installing the hands. Align it at 12 o'clock and press straight down, the seconds hand is fragile so set it perfectly straight down, it should snap into place. My second hand was attached to the minute hand and stopped the time. It took a bit of flexing of the minute hand (not the second hand). I also had to bend the battery contacts to make contact.
