Much better than cheap ones

Worth an overpayment compared to cheap ones. My only complaint is that I wish they had sold a longer version. Spot welds on cars are often in opaque areas that rub with a short drill chuck and you cannot get the drill right onto the weld. It would be great to do a 5 inch version or something. When using, keep it lubricated and work slowly. A quick spin will ruin it quickly.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No effect

Better than Hole Saw Type

After trying out a few "hole saw" style spot welders and letting them click my teeth and dance around me, I decided to give it a try. Worked great. Much more reliable and easier to use. It still needed to be centered quickly, but was much more likely to stay in place when drilling. Slow and steady wins the spot welding race. this one was a champion.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Much better than a mini crown like

it was great. A friend who works in an auto repair shop recommended this type of spot weld drill and he was right. mark, but it's easier with one. And that was nice, you almost have to try to go through both panels on purpose. This has only happened once out of about 25 spot welds I've drilled so far and it still cuts great.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • something different
