Great for rusty camber anywhere

We get flagpole cars or cars that come out of Colorado. Mostly completely rusted. A bit of this with a wrench and a Home Depot flashlight works 60% of the time. Depending on the degree of rust

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Hard to say

High quality. Best in Hand Tools

This thing is a beast! I bought this to add to my small portable tool box when I was scavenging for parts at the junkyard. It was too big to fit in my 13" box but I decided to keep it for the original ergonomics and high quality.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Gives wrenches much needed torque.

This is a reliable tool. Fits both my open-end wrenches and my socket wrenches. The key started to bend the first time I used it. Just approach the bolt's head and it will pop out. When I'm working on a car, this tool is always with me.

  • Absolute Legend

Great addition to your toolbox

This tool is revolutionary. Essential for a bolt I couldn't break. There was no place to strike. I received a good combination wrench and with this extension I was finally able to break the bolt. Very good quality and slides up or down on the combination wrench as needed. Highly recommended !

Pros
  • Testers give high marks for support and durability
Cons
  • unreliable

It's amazing how well this item works. It has a crease towards the middle for use with a reversible ring wrench with a cranked end. I also like the 1/2 drive feature for the breaker when you need even more leverage. This tool can cause mayhem and you really shouldn't love your wrenches if you're using it, but it worked WAY better than I ever thought it would. Great product and benefit, thanks!

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Fits

Leverage is the best tool in every toolbox.

I bought this "wrench extender" or "cheat bar" because my chief engineer at my job allowed me to use it to loosen the stubborn locknuts on the inner tie rods. I have not scratched my leveling post or hit my elbows since I started using it and I consider it the second most powerful after the acetylene oxygen device. It's a lot safer than the old-school double wrench method, and the fact that it can slide up/down the length of the wrench keeps you from getting stuck in the longest extension if…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Not the best

Necessary! - Hand tool

I bought this for the upper control arm bolts that I have never been able to remove in my life because my wrenches were too short for adequate leverage and the breaker or ratchet didn't fit. This has made wrenches twice as long and faster than the factory 125 ft lb control arm bolts that have been used for 10 years and 130,000 miles. I suppose two wrenches linked together could do the same thing, but I can never get it to work properly.

Pros
  • High-quality mechanic's tool made of heavy-duty forged steel; rust and corrosion resistant
Cons
  • There are new competitors

An irreplaceable thing, IMHO: Power & Hand Tools

This is a great addition to my mechanic's tool kit. I borrowed one from a friend and knew I needed it. It works great with rusty hanger nuts and bolts where there is no room for a regular breaker and outlet but enough room to attach a box. Of course it has limitations on the key sizes it can be used with (mostly I use it for 17-24mm). Much better than using a pipe and ruining my combo wrenches, or worse, using too much torque and breaking the wrench. If I need to use more force, I have to use…

Pros
  • Maximum effort for hard-to-reach places; fits most hex, hex key, TX, XZN and socket tools
Cons
  • Off fashion
