These blades were recommended to me by a fellow carpenter

These blades were recommended to me by a fellow carpenter. I've found them to last longer than any other brand and I've tried many (Fein, Bosch, Dremel, Oshlun, etc.). Great blades for versatile use on the construction site.

OK, but carbide teeth are better

I took these to try on solid fairings and they didn't work at all. I usually buy carbide teeth but wanted to try these as well. There was an error. I will continue to buy Bosch tungsten carbide blades for these types of repairs. Their only positive side was that they matched the Dewalt tool very well.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Grab it when the price is right

You have to shop, but when I see a discount on these items, I grab it. As a general contractor, 10 of them easily last a year or longer if I use them in a targeted manner. I don't waste them on jobs that require me to use a saber saw or a jigsaw. You're just wasting your money if you're too lazy to use the right tool.

Not for metal in power tool parts and accessories

The blade allows you to cut metal and nails. At the first contact with the nail, the blade immediately lost all cutting teeth. The back of the package states that this only applies to non-ferrous metals, ie not nails. It might be possible to cut through overcooked pasta and softened butter, but I can't guarantee it. A picture of an intact nail is not included as most people can imagine a perfectly intact nail.

  • Ideal for outdoor activities

Impressive from start to finish!

I'm in love with these blades. My experience prior to acquisition was that if a blade held more than a nail or two, I got some benefit. The first blade in the pack cut through 68 stud nails and 18 finishing nails without missing a punch. The blade of this blade is impressive to say the least. I've been trying to cut oak finish with the same blade and it's not made for woad but hey I'm happy to switch blades when it cuts through like nails. Although the company never replied to the email I sent…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Poor design

Blades that break before you use them. :(

I had a broken blade just from boxing and removing the rubber band. I now have this brand new blade, supposedly one of the best in quality that will become unusable if shipped without how they fall apart will ever stand up to cutting.I've had almost $1 blades I've tried and had no problem staying together.I was impressed with Imperial's old blades so I ordered more. I don't know if they have changed manufacturers but they are a bit different from the old ones I have photos to show how different

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Good but not great

You get what you pay for

If you just want to clip a few small nails off of the project you're working on, this is a steal. However, I bought 6 of these and went through all 6 after cutting out about 150 brackets holding the wooden floor I salvaged. I went to Home Depot and paid $25 for a Bosch blade specifically designed for cutting nails and staples and was able to cut about 500 staples with it before some of the teeth started to break. So I went to Lowes where they had a $20 Dremel blade for cutting through nails and
