🎧 Pegasus R2R DAC Decoder: Delivering DSD1024 and PCM1536 Audio Excellence with Advanced Connectivity and Filter Technology (Black) Review

For the first time with r2r dac, after comparing with Hugo tt2, my Pegasus showed better low frequencies and thicker sound, so I can listen to music for a long time without feeling tired.

I've had it for almost a month now. The listening experience has definitely improved. There seems to be more detail and clarity, especially with percussion instruments. I'll have to do a more thorough analysis when I get the new speakers and amp, but so far I'm very happy with this purchase.

This DAC is fantastic! Sound has true dimension and weight! NOT FOUND in delta sigma DACs like the topping d90 or the new smsl m40. The clarity is amazing too. Bass notes are deep and textured. My previous DAC was MHDT Orchid. The Pegasus sounds more balanced, with deeper, punchier bass. The mids and highs are also appealing and less colored than the Orchid. I really noticed acoustic flaws in my room that I hadn't noticed before. Don't get me wrong the MHDT which I love and spent a decent amount of money on rolling tubes - it has a nice and attractive presentation with great instrument separation. If you love music and are willing to spend money on this device to complete it with a good amplifier and speakers, I would say that you have made a very good decision!
